Soohyung is committed to music education. She has been an active piano teacher for more than 10 years, where she often works with over twenty students of all levels and ages on a weekly basis.  She enjoys watching her students grow as musicians and tries to plant in each of them a love for music that will stay with them throughout their lives. Her teaching style is very encouraging, but she is also stern about proper development in technique and music reading/interpretation, which are crucial in furthering one's development.  Soohyung has been on the faculty at Frederick College, the International School of Music, Musical Expressions, and the University of Maryland. She welcomes students from all backgrounds, as music learning is something to be shared by all.
